The Pisko Solar solar panel brackets are carefully tested to be safe and easy to use. Solar panels are often subjected to stress from several external factors, such as snow and wind loads. It is important that the static load resistance of the products has been tested and specified. This is the starting point for a safe environment and a functional long-life roof. The durability of the Pisko Solar brackets has been tested for each roof type 1) directly from the fastening surface out and 2) in the direction of the incline of the roof.
Solar panel systems are often comprised of components made of different metals and metal alloys – a thick and strong paint coat on roof fasteners provides the required isolation between metal surfaces to substantially reduce the risk of galvanic corrosion. Piristeel manufactures Pisko Solar brackets using high-strength galvanized steel that is always powder-coated to maximize the corrosion protection. It is difficult to inspect the condition of roof brackets under solar panel fields, and therefore it is of paramount importance for the products to be maintenance-free and durable. Pisko Solar roof mountings are made using watertight methods. Proprietary Pisko 2+1 sealants (download Pisko 2+1 seal brochure) that are quick to install while offering complete watertightness have been developed for batten mountings. Pisko rubber gasket pairs are used for the required elevations. Products of the Pisko UniSeam family are used for fastening seamed roofing. UniSeam offers a significant benefit with regard to minimizing the load on the roofing material and paint coat and keeping the roof covering clean.

The durability of individual Pisko Solar roof brackets has been tested in static tests by mechanically loading the products.
